Rare ALLACH (SS) porcelain coffee jug & Bohemia plate (plate) both DKR (German Red Cross)

A neat coffee jug complete with lid (this is often missing) made by ALLACH (Allach was made inside of the infamous Dachau concentration camp). The jug is approximately: 12.5 cm high on the bottom stamped with the SS runic characters inside the letter b (Bohemia), the jug is still in neat condition given it’s age. The plate also bears the well-known stamp with the Crown of Bohemia, and was probably also made in the Allach factory. Both pieces are part of a service of the German Red Cross (DKR), Allach was known for the pure white colour of the porcelain, and was made by prisoners. These kinds of pieces are quite rare, especially in this condition. This can simply be explained that after the war much of this porcelain was destroyed. These pieces were made somewhere between 1936 and 1943 in the Nazi era in Germany. The photos are an integral part of the description of this lot. This item is part of a collection that was collected over a period of more than 50 years. This is offered for auction on behalf of a customer. The objects can be viewed by strict appointment only. The objects will be offered at several auctions. We try to mention as many details as possible, origin etc. All the objects that are to be sent, will be shipped insured. So please take into account that we will have to insure all valuable objects. The postal charges may be higher than usual. (Collection by appointment is possible as well).
