Omega - Genève Quartz - 196.0066 - Herren - 1970-1979

Beautiful and sizeable dress watch by Omega, from 1976 (movement number 39.xxx.xxx). The gold plated case measures approx. 35 mm x 42 mm (without the crown, including lugs). The dial is gold with gold bar-shaped markers. It also has a day/date aperture at the 3 o'clock position (the day is in French). The crown is original, and adjusts just the hours after one click, and the minutes after 2 clicks. The pin above and below the crown adjusts the day and date. The date pin works just fine, unfortunately, the day pin is defective. This can easily be solved by adjusting the hours; the day will change along with it. The case back is made of steel and is marked with the Omega logo. It is marked with the reference 196.0066 in the inside. The movement is a 1310 calibre Omega quartz movement. The battery was recently replaced and the watch runs just fine. This Omega has a neat, leather, 22 mm strap with a normal, generic steel buckle clasp. The strap has never been worn and it is suited for a wrist of up to 23 cm. The overall condition of the watch is neat (optically 8/10). Please take a very good look at the many photos. They provide a good impression of what you can expect. Only the watch is included. In short...a beautiful, large dress watch by the top brand Omega, from 1976! Offered without a reserve price - NO RESERVE! Naturally, this item will be well-packaged and shipped registered (insured).
