This chain was gift to my aunt from my uncle, who bought for her it in the famous CHANEL Boutique in RUE de CAMBON 31, during their honeymoon in April 1958. Gabrielle Chanel had only reappeared in the fashion scene ( after the previous closure of her Maison due to the Second World War) from just four years, recently proposing her famous tweed tailleur that combined belts like this (as you can see from the pics n. 5 ) In this period it's still the great COCO Gabrielle Chanel drawing her creations ...
