Lug Width: 20mm Gender: Men's Style: Diver Features: Date, Diver Watch, Easy To Read, 12-Hour Dial, Acrylic Crystal, NON Rotating Bezel, Swiss Made, Swiss Movement Movement: Mechanical (Automatic) Country/Region of Manufacture: Switzerland Year of Manufacture: 1960-1969 Display: Analog Case Material: Stainless Stee Case Size: 38mm Very cool and military-looking vintage Avia Marino steel that is slightly fading. The case is approx. 38 mm in diameter without the crown and crown. The dial is also black with a black inner bezel The strap is made of black vintage but NEW fossil leather nato strap here and there. It is 20 mm wide at the attachment and circa 23 cm long In addition, the watch has luminous hands in vintage look and yellow/green hands. The automatic timepiece is a reliable 25 jewel swiss "hourglass " swiss made replaced movement - timepiece. The watch is generally in neat, but vintage condition (optically 7.5/10). The service history is unknown.- not tested for water resistance. the vintage look is spectacular, especially when the light hits the dial just right. The patina on the dial and hands match perfectly, having aged to a warm and inviting cappuccino hue. Over the past several decades the hands have corroded a bit, adding to the charm of this watch. All of the original lume on the dial and hands is intact and no longer glows after being exposed to bright light. The heavy, all stainless steel case is in wonderful shape, free of any noticeable dents or dings. The case still retains its original brushed satin finish. The outer edge of the case back is engraved "SWISS MADE WATERPROOF ANTIMAGNETIC INCABLOC AUTOMATIC STAINLESS STEEL" with "15033" engraved in the center. The crystal has some scratching. The 17 jewels Swiss made has been replaced to a better one- it's like new condition and looks great. the new heart is a similar age 25jewel swiss made "hourglass" movement- what refers to edox or longines. While it runs good, had a power reserve of approximately 20 hours. At the end of the power reserve period the watch was running approximately 30 minutes. The sharply threaded, non-dented, non-screwdown crown winds buttery smooth. Considering that this watch is about 50 years old, runs a tad fast with the date wheel changing over a bit early and likely having not been serviced in several decades (there are visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back), This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 41 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8.5 mm. Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given.
