The speakers have not been mistreated, the housings and the cloth covers are undamaged and beautiful. The units are also fully intact, they are not sensitive to aging. They are very special speakers which produce a surprisingly modern sound, the sound is pleasant. They are the serial numbers 5042 and 5043. Yamaha speaks of the first speakers in the world which are built for music. To achieve this, the Japanese manufacturer uses an extremely light, asymmetrical membrane which is driven by a super magnet. This should lead to a better impulse behaviour for an even, spherical and direction-free dispersion. The back wall has also been kept partly open to this end. The currently trend-setting high-end “open-baffle” systems seem to have found there predecessor here. They are pretty large speakers. Because they are so special, I have placed a good bottle of wine next to them so there can be no misunderstanding about the size. For that reason, they are separately packed and shipped as 2 shipments.
