The front sticker has fallen a little, as can be seen in the photos. The Honda RC211V was developed in 2011 by the competition department from Honda, Honda _Racing_Corporation to replace the Honda NSR500, due to the drastic changes in the rules of the World Championship of motorcycling in the 2002 season. The rules changed, the limits of 500 cc remained for the two-stroke and 4-cylinder engines, but the four-stroke engines could reach 990 cc in 3 or 4 cylinders. In this change the class took the name of MotoGP and was limited to racing prototypes. This motorcycle was the first four-stroke motorcycle in the speed World Championship . The model for the designation of the name is: 1 RC = Traditional prefix of Honda Racing (HRC) 211 = First moto from the 21st century V = engine V layout In its debut year, 2002, the RC211V was the only motorcycle with a V5 engine. Honda reached more than 240hp (179kW), 148kg,and more than 340km/h of maximum speed. Racer Valentino Rossi ruled 2002 season on board of his new racing motorcycle and got the championship from 2002 and 2003 on the RC211V. In 2006, RC211V won the championship again, but this time on the hands of racer Nicky Hayden. The rules of MotoGP change for the 2007 season. The 4-stroke engines were limited to 800 cc and 21 litres of fuel as the main changes. Due to these changes, Honda replaced the RC211V for the RC212V for the 2007 season.
