Antique EASTMAN 'No. 3A Model B-2' Folding Pocket KODAK Folding Camera. The word 'Pocket' in the official title must have been Eastman's little joke as the camera measures, when closed 25cm x 12cm x 5cm and weighs 1142 grams - hardly pocket size or a light-weight! But this camera is a beautifully crafted and engineered camera - view the photographs for proof. it shows US Patents going back to 1894. It comes in excellent condition, with only a small tear to the bellows in a corner. Other than that, the red bellows are still solid-looking. This up-market model has the f6.8 168mm Bausch & Lomb lens and the Kodak Automatic 5-speed shutter. The lens panel has a rising front and lateral movement for the lens. The camera gave massive 5.5inch x 3.25inch negatives. A nice touch are the polished-wood inserts applied to the bellows base. Also included is a leather camera case. A collectors collectable antique camera.
