Large zamak sculpture of the French artist Emile Bruchon (1806-1895) from the second half of the 19th century. Depicted is a young woman with a cupid. The cupid carries a bow and arrow in his hand. In the middle front a plaque with the title of the sculpture "La Protection". The French artist left his signature on the base of the sculpture. The whole stands on a wooden base with a diameter of 20 cm. The sculpture has a beautiful patina. Emile Bruchon was a student of the famous French sculptor Mathurin Moreau and made both sculptures and decorative objects, in bronze and zamak. Photos complete this description. Viewing in advance is possible in consultation with the auctioneer. Will be packaged with care and shipped by registered mail. The lot will be sent in a custom made wooden box in accordance with ISPM No. 15519741/742.
