Wonderful six piece set by H. Bequet from Belgium. Hubert Bequet started his career in the faiencerie of Wasmuël in 1926. Bequet started his own studio in 1934 in Quaregnon, the faiencerie Bequet. This company manufactured quite some decorative ware. The company had no less than fifty employees in 1963. After that, business was less successful. Faiencerie Bequet had to cease operations in 1982. The three lidded items: Tall lidded vase: It is 37 cm tall and has a 20 cm diameter. Smaller lidded vase: A 35.5 cm height and a width of 16 cm. Jewellery box: 9 cm tall. 19 cm wide. 10 cm deep. All three have signs of use on the handles and all three have the original labels on and on the bottom of the vase, see photos. Pick-up in Harelbeke, West Flanders, is preferred given the fragility of the items. Will be packaged with the utmost care and shipped with Track & Trace.
