Giuseppe Lizzini, art designer, since 1961 present with his works in approx. 40 exhibitions. He lives and works between Rome and Milan. Remarkable success among critics and public obtained by his graphic work “Onironica”. After the 1970s, his career was linked to the studio history: we have to remember the creation of a “modular” pictorial work in the 1970s, that gave birth to play-art; the creation in the 1980s of “Scultrona”, an item with an essential design and the function of a seat; many furnishing accessories, including the table lamp “Lucy” made in Switzerland in the 1990s; “L’alfabeto”, a symmetrical scheme consisting of curved and straight segments, that includes all the block capitals of the Latin and Greek alphabet. Nel the design field, we can mention the creation of “gli S-MOBILI”, armchairs, bases for tables, benches, chairs, all modular and re-assemblable, without the aid of screws or glues, and “Magica”, a lamp composed of a rectangle of parchment that is wrapped to form a cylinder, fixed by the same lamp holder, screwed through two holes already prepared.
