Wonderful original Zodiac Sea Wolf in good condition. The Zodiac Sea Wolf was often worn by American soldiers in Vietnam and was one of the sturdiest watches of the '50s and '60s. The first Zodiac Sea Wolf was introduced in 1953, the same year as the Rolex Submariner and the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. The Sea Wolf has a depth rating of 200 m, surpassing Rolex and Blancpain. This is an early model, given that the dial is only marked 'Swiss'. The steel case has a diameter of 35 mm without crown. The bidirectional bezel still looks neat. As is often the case with these models, the bezel slides instead of clicking, due to frequent use. Wonderful black dial with a very special patina. Over the years, the dial took on a grey stone colour, which looks spectacular. The original high plexiglass is also still in place. Of course also features the characteristic pyramid indices and the special skeleton dauphine hands. Comes on a tropical strap that can be adjusted up to a wrist size of 20 cm.
