Rare pottery dating from the late Neolithic period, typical of the Seine and Oise-Marne Group (SOM). The shapes are irregular, flat-bottomed, slightly rounded at the mid-section, with a slightly narrowed opening that curves outward at the edge. The clay is coarse, the sides are rough, without smoothing. circa 3500 B.C. Height: 16.2 cm - In very well-preserved condition - no restorations. Provenance: Middelburg Auction House, June 2017, No. 619 Previous origin: old collection assembled in the 1970s Important information: The Supplier warrants that he obtained this lot in a legal manner.
