The most accurate wristwatch in the world. The watch made by Omega is one of the most accurate non-thermocompensated wristwatches ever made, keeping time to within 1 second in a month. This watch is from 1977, with calibre 1516 with a peerless accuracy of 12 seconds per year, thanks to a 2.4 MHz quartz circuit. Famous owners of Omega Marine Chronometers are Jacques Cousteau and Eric Tabarly.
This watch was sent to Besançon in France to test their chronometer and several other tests and the average discrepancy was less than two milliseconds per day.
