Giancarlo Gottardi, well-known Italian sculptor and painter (1949). 2 pictures sold with original frame: 38.5 x 32.3 x 2 cm - size of a frame. He organised approx. 100 national solo exhibitions. His works can be found in public and private collections all over the world and various critics were interested in them, writing in newspapers and specialised magazines. He develops mosaic techniques and participated in the creation of the mosaic dedicated to the Saviour on Monte Guglielmo (Brescia). He studied sculpture and works with clay and Plasticine. In the 1990s he started to make his first sculptures: in lost-wax bronze, marble and wood, oxidised iron, old techniques, drawing and engraving. His first awards refer to graphic works. He creates a personal fresco technique, mix of tempera and watercolour, oil, graffiti, etc., and he has been creating pictorial works from the 1980s until today.
