Late Medieval pewter plate, marked with a crowned rose and makersmark initials AI from Adriaan Inghelmond who worked in Brughes 1539-1556.
This pewter plate is recovered from a Spanish shipwreck from the mid 16th century. The ship was wrecked off the East Coast of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic) and is one of the earliest European wrecks discovered in the Americas.

Good condition, signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
The plate comes with the Certificate of Authenticity and artifact registration documents from Anchor Research & Salvage S.R.L.
