Up for auction is a watch that I've always considered underrated - WEWCo.'s Sowar Prima Automatic with a 28,800 A/h beat movement and hack feature. This movement was also used by Rolex. It was very much de rigeur for Indian Army officers to own a Sowar Prima Automatic at one time! Note the Broad Arrow military symbol on the case back which was adopted by India after Independence in 1947. This example is in good condition for its age but as always I urge you to examine the High Definition photos carefully. However I would draw your attention to the very slight plate wear on the bezel, though this is not readily visible. The wonderful condition dial appears to have what looks like a mark at the outer edge between 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock. In fact it is a trick of the light as can be seen in the dial [[36.88mms]] measurement photo #7. The strap will fit a wrist of 20.50cms easily. The watch has been serviced within the last 12 months.
