Ancient Egyptian faience Eye Of Horus amulet made during the Late Period circa 664 BC - 332 BC in Egypt. Talisman has a beautiful natural green colour and an extremely rare z-shaped form with black convex dot symbolizing an eye of deity on both sides. Artifact has been pierced longitudinally for suspension.
Eye Of Horus (also known as Wedjat or udjat eye) was one of the most important protective symbols in Egyptian beliefs. It was worn for protection against evil spirits, to ensure well-being, and for healing purposes.
