2001 Domaine Leroy - Musigny Grand Cru - 1 Flasche (0,75 l)

This bottle is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by a well-known French wine critic of international fame. In 2001, only 596 bottles of this fantastic Musigny were produced. Presentation of the lot Musigny Grand Cru Leroy (Domaine) The cuvée Domane Leroy owns only 27 macaws in the popular Musigny area. But this Grand Cru has always occupied a special place within the Leroy family. At his birth, Lalou-Bize Leroy received a drop of Musigny 1929 on his lips from his father. The Musigny of Domaine Leroy is today one of the finest wines of Burgundy. A wine that cannot leave anyone indifferent. Estate information: Leroy (domain) Domaine Leroy was founded in 1868 in the small municipality of Auxey-Duresses. It owes its fame to Henry Leroy, who began working in the family business in 1919. In 1942 he purchased half of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti vineyard, still co-owned with the de Villaine family. In 1955 he was succeeded by his daughter Marcelle, nicknamed Lalou, who is still at the helm of the estate and says that when she was born, her father wet her lips with a drop of Musigny. Between 1985 and 1989, with the help of her Japanese importer, Marcelle Leroy acquired the vineyards of the Noëllat and Philippe Rémy companies with the aim of producing excellent wines: Domaine Leroy was born. Today Lalou-Bize Leroy is at the head of an extraordinary viticultural heritage that extends over 22.4 hectares spread across 24 appellations. No compromise on viticulture methods: the vineyards are treated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture and the yields are very low. If the wines of the Maison de Négoce are extremely appreciated, the estate wines are the object of a true cult, and together with those of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti they embody the excellence of Burgundy. The fame of the estate has gone beyond the borders of France, which is why today it is very difficult to find its prestigious bottles. This bottle comes from my private cellar which is always kept at a controlled temperature and in the dark. The photos always represent the real photo of the bottle on sale, you will be able to clearly verify the state of the label level and the originality of the bottle. The capsule has some light cracks. The shipment will always be packaged with professional equipment and will be insured and entrusted to the best forwarder. I do not ship to countries that have alcohol import restrictions.
