Schoolgirls - Nguyen Thanh Binh - Vietnam

We bought this painting from Song Hong Art Gallery, one of Nguyen Thanh Bin's early gallerists in Hanoi on the very charming Nguyen Du Street. We were living in Singapore at the time, where Vietnamese art was really trending. Visiting the vibrant art scene in Hanoi was one of our key reasons for making this first trip Viet Nam, and we made several trips since.

Aside from the brush strokes, we love the simplicity, beauty and innocence of the Schoolgirls in their white ao dai. There is nothing more elegant, in fact.

For the prospective buyer, the framed dimensions are 117 x 147 x 3.5 cm and it weighs 10 kg. If you want the frame, the shipping will need to be properly priced and done by a professional. I am happy for you to pick it up in Paris, or for you to arrange for the shipping. If you prefer to receive just the canvas rolled up, shipping would logically be cheaper, but keep in mind that wood frames are expensive. I'd expect that shipping the framed canvas might be cheaper than buying a new custom wood frame with today's prices.
