A very RARE and beautiful collection of verses for children compiled by M. G. Edgar with the wonderful 8 colour plates and black and white illustrations by Willy Pogany. "A Treasury of Verse for Little Children" published by Harrap around 1910. Illustrated endpapers, almost every page illustrated!! A feast for the eye!!! Book in good condition for age. Large hardback in green cloth boards, gilt titles and embossed gilt illustration. Bright gilt on front board and spine. Stains on rear boards.Wear around edges and corners, some shelfwear-see photos as part of description. Inside light foxing on margins illustrations clean, tiny repair with blank tape on a page on margin toward the end of the book. Frontis with light wear on margins and light tear-see photos. Uncommon. Pogany at his best!!
