The triad consists of two regal Shakyamuni Buddha figures, representing the Buddha jewel, and an exquisite portrayal of the Lotus Sutra standing between them, symbolizing the Dharma jewel. Accompanying the triad is a separate, reverent figure of Saint Nichiren, embodying the Sangha jewel and showcasing the rich heritage of Nichiren Buddhism. The altar cabinet, resplendent with its golden interior, hosts these sacred figures, uniting them in a display of spiritual significance. While the origin is marked by calligraphy on the inner doors of the cabinet dating back to an auspicious day in December 1939, it respectfully withholds direct attribution to a maker, allowing the artistry to speak for itself. A signature from the 38th Chief monk of Myogyoji Temple endorses the set's provenance. Signs of wear and time—including scratches, stains, and fading—add a venerable patina to the set. Notably, part of the base of the triad has detached. Please refer to the photos. Dimensions of Cabinet: approx. H 34 cm W 29 cm D 24 cm Overall Dimensions including pedestal : approx.
