An XS terracotta jar with gazelle decor from the ancient Indus Valley, Balochistan culture.
1st Millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming and painting . Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased 1994 by Dr. Zelnik in Islamabad on the local art market.
