Here we have a sought after, rare and valuable Bowie album , the first UK pressing of The Man Who Sold The World on Mercury label 6338 041 with misspelling of Tonny Visconti on both sides ( later amended to Tony ) . This super rare iconic textured “dress” sleeve was withdrawn shortly after release. This record has been play tested pre sale being part of my personal collection and I have used the international grading system in describing the record and sleeve as follows: Sleeve VG+ shows three small marks to front ( see photo ) and none to the reverse side and only expected wear to edges given this is over 50 years old. There are no tears or splits. Vinyl VG+ it retains its sheen with light spindle wear , light scuffing and hairlines but no scratches that affect the playing of the record. Please see photos. I have included the original inner sleeve , a new poly lined inner sleeve, a record outer sleeve and it will be posted in a record mailer with added protection.
