This exceptional cornas is made from 100% Syrah. The Domaine Marcel Juge is one of the icons of the Rhône Nord, especially the Cornas appellation. This winemaker produced only two cuvées: C (coteaux) and SC (coteaux selection). Today there is only the cuvée C since Marcel Juge has indeed decided to sell his most difficult vines to cultivate. Cuvée C has a brilliant ruby colour. The nose of this wine exudes notes of red and black fruits such as black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, but also more floral (purple), black pepper and smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex. The tannins are ripe with a beautiful integration with the harmony of the wine. The finish is long and spicy. In short this cuvée is very rare The wine was kept in a cellar buried at a constant temperature
