These screens illustrate the serene beauty of pine trees, maple leaves, camellias, and ships gently floating on the sea, while the other captures the elegant lifestyle of noble men and women dressed in elaborate junihitoe, or twelve-layered ceremonial kimono.The detailed artwork transports viewers to an era of sophistication and courtly grace. Please note that age-related wear and damage such as stains, dirt, tears, as well as peeling of paint and gold leaf are present. One of the screens shows more deterioration and a lot of paint cracks and chips and will require restoration. Kindly refer to the photos for a comprehensive understanding of the condition.
