IWC - 'Le Petit Prince' - Pilot's - Chronograph Edition - Automatic - Ref. No: IW377714 - Herren - 2011-heute

Welcome to my Top Swiss Chronographs Boutique: With its passion for innovation and technical inventiveness, IWC Schaffhausen has established an international reputation. Since 1868, manufacturers have been creating masterpieces of haute horlogerie. IWC mechanical timepieces are handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, combine precision engineering with extraordinary timeless design, bringing finest technology and unique emotions to the wrist. To differentiate their mechanical offerings from the growing crowd of modernist quartz watches, IWC launched the Portofino line in 1984 as a “pocket watch for the wrist.” Designed to suggest a “marriage” watch, the Portofino features a thick, rounded case with a prominent crown, a plain dial with Roman numerals, and slim feuille hands. Although often compared to dress watches like the Patek Philippe Calatrava, the Portofino's Lepine “pocket watch” design is quite different. The first Portofino, 1984's Ref. 5251, used a classic hand-wound movement with small seconds at 09:00 o'clock. IWC released a classically-styled dress watch in the Portofino line in 1993, competing at last with the Calatrava. Movement: - self-winding calibre 79320 - base: ETA 7750, the famous "workhorse" - 44 hours power-reserve - 31 jewels - frequency: 28,800Vph Case: - 316L stainless-steel - polished/fine brushed - 43mm excl. crown, 47mm incl. - thickness: 15,4mm - unique No: 5*******8 (for buyer only), best proof of authenticity Bezel: fixed, polished Case-back: solid stainless-steel with engravings, still covered with original plastic for safety Crown: - push/pull - screwed down - raised logo shield Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective Dial: - black, looks blue due to anti-reflective coating - polished hands - luminescent hands, hour markers and Arabic numerals - minute markers around the outer rim - three chronograph sub-dials: 12-hours at 06:00 o'clock small-seconds at 09:00 o'clock with red hand 30-minutes counter at 12:00 o'clock - date and weekday apertures at 03:00 o'clock - chronograph second hand Strap: - genuine brown leather with chic light stitches, in perfect harmony with the dial - authentic IWC, comfortable on every wrist, especially after few days of wearing - length 21cm incl. wristwatch itself - width: 21mm by lugs, 18mm by clasp Clasp: stainless steel pin buckle with IWC logo Water-resistant: 60meter/6Bar/200feet, not recommended for diving Weight: 118 grams General professional pre-sale service was made in March 2024: the watch is keeping good time and working perfectly. Distributor's stock: the card isn't stamped. IWC black watch-box; it should be noted that this box model, in my opinion, is not perfect (I mean the black coating, it becomes a bit sticky over time, and nothing can be done about it). High recognition value. Distinctive design. Excellent condition, never worn: the wristwatch comes from luxury watch-shop showcase. My personal authenticity and quality warranty: you will get warranty card (as pictured), fully completed and signed on the back. Insured, registered shipping worldwide with DHL Express: it’s not cheap, and yet fast and reliable, two days in Europe, three days worldwide. What you see in my pics is what you get. In my opinion 'Le Petit Prince' is one of most remarkable chronographs in the gorgeous story of Swiss watchmaking, and not only dur to its lovely name. NO EXTRA COSTS for EU Buyers!
