Rare eye ball desk lamp from DGBM (West Germany) from the late 1960s. The lamp has a deep and warm metal orange spherical shade and rests on a so called 'fishing rod suspension' constructed out of two chromed metal arms and a solid heavy base. This construction allows the horizontal arm to rotate 360 degrees and the sphere in many positions left, right, up and down. The clamp that is holding the two arms together allows to slide the lamp up and down along the vertical arm and forward and backward along the horizontal arm. Perfectly executed and refined design with typical space age features. The lamp is in good and fully working condition with minimal traces of use: some small scratches on the base and sphere, light patina on the base and arms and two small dents on the sphere.
