Olympus 7-14mm 4.0 Zoomobjektiv

Olympus 7-14 mm 4.0 Without a doubt one of the best wide angle zoom lenses ever produced. The lens is relatively rare because of its very high original price and its weight, 780 grams. Being f4.0 over the entire range, it is well usable for handheld photography (other examples of f4.0 wide angle zooms are the Canon EF 16-35 4.0 L and the very recent OM System 8-25 mm 4.0). The weather-sealed lens, featuring a very large glass element (see photos), has a Four/Thirds mount, easily adaptable to Micro Four/Thirds with an Olympus MMF-1 adapter. The crop factor makes it comparable to a 14-28 mm full frame lens. The serial number of this lens, which is of course ‘made in Japan’, is 110007412. The 7-14 mm 4.0 has 7 diaphragm blades and offers 18 elements in 12 groups; it has been designed with Super ED, ED, and aspherical glass elements for a wide view without any noticeable distortion and only minimal chromatic aberrations, that can easily be fixed in editing; its sharpness and color from edge-to-edge of the image are superior. As there are no filters that can easily be used because of the protruding glass, the lens cap, made of sturdy metal, is of extra importance to protect the glass. This explains why there’s a slight dent in the lens cap and scratches are visible on its metal surface. The lens is otherwise technically and optically in a very good condition. There is also a soft pouch available for extra protection in your camera bag. The lens may be picked up from the Netherlands or can be sent (well-packaged of course) with either postNL or DHL.
