For real connoisseurs and connoisseurs: Roger Lafage, CORTON 1947, Gran Cru Old Burgundies are a true dream for every connoisseur. Good level and nice clear pomegranate red. Be sure to decant for at least 1-2 or even 3 hours!!! The well-known wine critic “wineterminator.com” writes: "...1947 is a very good year in Burgundy too, with fully ripe wines that can be drunk early, but some of which show astonishing aging potential. These are often less elegant, fine Pinots, but quite fat wines, with portent notes too you can clearly feel the hot year..." wineterminator wrote for a 1947 Chambolle Musigny from Roger Lafage : "...2019 an elegant wine with the sweetness of a well-ripened Burgundy, but also with a very good structure - WT96.
