Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II , Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering , RL Pressing (Withdrawn pressing) - Vinylschallplatte - 1969

Very sought after collector's item, this withdrawn pressing of the great Led Zeppelin II album. US 1st pressing (with the 1841 Broadway address on the labels), featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version. Atlantic – SD 8236 Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, "RL" Cut, PR - Presswell Pressing Country: US Released:1969 Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout Variant 2): ST-A-691671-A LWP W AT RL Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout Variant 2): ST-A-691672-A LWP AT RL SS W Original Atlantic innersleeve is present. Gatefoldsleeve is intact , has wear bottomleft frontcover and bottomright backside of the cover. Inside the gatefold is a small name and a personalized stamp that also appears on one label and on the Atlantic inner sleeve. Vinyl has his agewear (55 years old!) small lines/fine scratches/uderwear but plays great with the occasional background crackle. Photos are part of the description. After the auction, the item will be carefully packed and shipped within three working days. #HEM24
