Christopher Ward - C9 GT40 Power Reserve - Herren - 2011-heute
Early Christopher Ward C9 GT40 Power Reserve, collector’s piece, with metal from Ford GT #P-1075. Limited and numbered edition (watch #080/40). Full set. Worn only a handful of times. Virtually, the only one available on the market at this moment.
Made with aluminium from the wheel-spinner of Ford GT40 #P-1075, double winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans races of 1968 and 1969. The metal is fitted in the backplate of the watch.
The face of the watch replicates the rev counter of the car (including the red zone and the shape of the hands) and the fuel gauge in the power reserve sub-dial.
The back of the watch reads ”FORD GT40 * P/1075 * LE MANS DOUBLE WINNER 1968 & 1969 * LIMITED EDITION” and the number of the watch (08/40)
