A extremely rare and fine Franck Muller men's Limited Edition King Size chronograph wristwatch with automatic winding and date, model Conquistador Cortez King, ref 10000 K CC NR, watch nr. 9 from a series of 20. This model was sold to the happy few residents of Monte Carlo and was exclusively produced for Zegg & Cerlati of Monte Carlo / Monaco, known as the most prestigeus Franck Muller dealer in Europe. (See photo of two of their store in Monte Carlo/Monaco). Offered with the Franck Muller boxes and the numbered certificate of originality. The certificate is not yet dated and stamped. We think this watch nr. 9. was the demo model. The watch is fully serviced and in showroom condition. (See photo on movement performance). A similar King Cortez, but not a Limited Edition model, is currently offered by Brogle in Cologne for €28.100(See photo). On new handmade JL crocodile leather strap with Franck Muller buckle. The large square and slightly curved stepped case in black with PVD coating. It measures 45mm x 45mm, excluding the Franck Muller signed crown and excluding the lugs and pushers. (45mm x 60mm including lugs). Back of the case signed with makers name, ref. numbers, and the indication that this is the unique watch number 9 from a series of 20 made. The dial in black, fully signed and with fine engine turned pattern. Date at 6 with quickset. Subdials for chronograph registration and central hand for the chronograph seconds. Franck Muller signed automatic movement cal. FM7002 with platinum rotor, Cotes de Geneve decoration, blued screws and balance with fine regulation. See photo's. Watch will fit wrists up to 20cm. The Franck Muller will be well packed and shipped insured with track and trace with DHL Express, so with you in 2 – 3 days after you have payed to Catawiki. NOTE: No import taxes for residents from the EU, but residents from outside of the EU are subjected to pay customs import taxes. NOTE: We are not allowed by CITES rules to export the crocodile strap outside of the EU. When you are the highest bidder and your residence is outside of the EU, we unfortunately need to remove the strap, before we send the watch out to you.
