Turritella refines in the Adriatic Sea, 38 meters deep and 4.5 nautical miles from the Molise coast. The strong spicy notes, typical of the vine, are thus enhanced by refinement in the sea.

Vinification Maceration for a minimum of 15 days on the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with frequent pumping over and délestages. Soft pressing. Malolactic entirely carried out.
Wine maturation 18 months in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. A few months of bottle refinement follow
Aging at sea The bottles, carefully encapsulated, are placed on the seabed in steel cages, where they remain cradled by the harmonic currents of the sea at a pressure of approximately 4.8 atmospheres, with a constant temperature between 10/13°C. The resurfacing takes place, with every delicacy and with controlled decompression, after a period varying between 6 and 10 months in relation to the marine and seasonal weather conditions.

Organoleptic notes The wine appears ruby red in color with still violet nuances. On the nose the aromas are intense, fine, with a dominance of red fruits alternating with balsamic, herbaceous and spicy notes: clear artichoke and black peppercorns. In the mouth the dense and velvety tannic texture is supported by excellent freshness. Long tasting finish with balsamic and spicy returns.
Food pairings Accompanies first courses, mature cheeses, red meat second courses and typical dishes of traditional cuisine.
