【Important notes】 ・International Buyers: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. ・Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These duties are paid to your country's customs office and not to us. Prompt payment of these fees is necessary to ensure delivery of your item. ・We deeply value your understanding regarding the blade's export process. The duration to secure an export permit might extend up to a month, and shipping, based on the destination, could take an additional month. In some instances, sea freight may be chosen, which might lengthen the delivery period to 2-3 months. ・Considering the diligence required for export permit procedures, we'd like to emphasize the importance of commitment after purchase. If the auction is annulled post-confirmation, there's a need to retract the said permit. In such situations, to cover administrative efforts, a fee equating to 10% of the auction's final amount would be requested via PayPal. ・We kindly request bids from those who fully acknowledge these conditions. Please be informed that the original registration document is required to be returned to official authorities, so a copy will be provided with the sword. 【Product details】 Step into the world of historic Japanese swordsmanship with this exquisite Edo period early Katana, attributed to the Echizen Seki school. This sword, devoid of a signature, is believed to be the work of the Echizen Seki, a group of swordsmiths who relocated from Mino Province to Echizen Province during the Keicho era (1596–1615). It stands as a remarkable example of their skilled craftsmanship. The authenticity and historical significance of this Katana have been formally recognized by the NBTHK (Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai), which has certified it as both an "Echizen Seki" and a "Preserved Sword." This certification is a testament to the sword's quality and preservation, marking it as an important piece of Japanese martial heritage. Included with this revered sword is a copy of the original Firearms and Swords Registration Certificate, as the original is returned to the authorities.
