Wunderschöne 九谷焼-Vase aus Kutani-Porzellan - Keramik, Porzellan - 吉田美統 Yoshida Minori - Japan - Shōwa Zeit (1926-1989)

DESCRIPTION This is a very beautiful Kutani ware vase. It expresses an elegant beauty by applying gold leaf to a light green base. Minori Yoshida 吉田美統 was born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1932 and is currently designated as a Living National Treasure. His technique involves using thin and thick gold leaf to create a sense of depth. This technique is known as "yurikinsai 釉裏金彩," and Minori Yoshida is a master of it. The extremely thin gold leaf used requires skill in cutting and handling. After applying the gold leaf, a transparent glaze is applied to enhance the natural color of the gold, and this gold color can be preserved without discoloration. The subdued and dignified beauty of his work is highly acclaimed as an exquisite piece of art both in Japan and abroad. Good condition, there is partially minor peeling of the gold leaf. Please refer to the images for details. NOTICE The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by Japan Post, DHL or FedEx depend on the situation. It takes about 3 weeks to receive normally. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Sometimes Customes or delivery company in your country contact you for Customs clearance via phone or email. Please make sure that you could answer the phone. If you don't, the parcel will return to me and it cost more double shipping fee for reshipping. I appreciate your cooperation.
