Leica IIIc wartime - 1941 - rare - red curtains - Elmar 3.5/50 Messsucherkamera

PLEASE READ Because my cameras and lenses are collectors items to me and I never used them with a film, I mark the cameras as “not tested”. However, functions such as shutter, rangefinder, light meter, mirror, etc. are checked for operation (not for accuracy) and lenses are judged by eye. From the description and test results can often be concluded whether the object could function properly, but I cannot give any guarantee on this. DESCRIPTION This Leica camera is produced during WWII and is cosmetically and technically in good condition. This is a rare "war time" Leica with red curtains. These curtains were only used briefly during the war, because the quality wasn't very good. The curtains of this camera are in good shape, but light tight is not tested. A matching Elmar 3.5/5cm is included. BODY Leica IIIc, 1941, serial 377638 COSMETICS Chrome: very good, minor traces of use Leather: good, TECHNICAL Shutter: working at all speeds, speeds not checked Curtains: good condition, light tight not tested Rangefinder: visible, working Film transport: cocks the shutter, transport not film tested View finder: clear LENS Elmar f3.5 5cm, 1941, serial 544657 COSMETICS Chrome: good condition, traces of use on chrome tube TECHNICAL Glass: clear, some surface scratches Focussing: working Aperture: good condition, no oil Look at the photos, because they are part of the description. Will be well packaged and shipped registered.
