This wine combines the fullness of the good 2006 vintage with the unrivaled and long-loved style of Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill. The very fine and persistent mousse for which Pol Roger is renowned owes much to the deep, cool and humid cellars of the Maison (33 meters below street level at a temperature of 9°C). The opulent golden color of the wine is enlivened by a fine and harmonious flow of bubbles. At first, the rich nose boasts notes of white flowers and aromas of freshly baked brioche. As the wine warms up in the glass, it exudes hints of dried fruit and toasted almonds and hazelnuts, combined with a hint of orange peel.
