This meeting of two icons expresses the art of blending in brilliant colors — it is the 7th in Hennessy’s ongoing series of collaborations with internationally renowned artists. Follow the artist from his Paris art studio to Cognac, to his native NYC. JonOne gives voice to the inspiration he found in the Hennessy legacy, a shared passion for the art of blending. Born and raised in Harlem, from the age of 17 JonOne was captivated by the graffiti scene of New York in the 1980’s. Entirely self-taught, for him the subway cars were moving galleries, and the cityscape was an open museum. In the late 80’s JonOne took the style he defined in NYC to Paris, where he quickly emerged at the forefront of the street art movement. Since then, he has been featured in dozens of solo and group exhibitions, his works have set records at auctions, and he’s even painted a 777 passenger jet. His life and work are an embodiment of the Hennessy mantra: “Never stop.
