This ONKYO A-65 was the top of the line in 1981 in terms of integrated amplifiers. An exclusive model which is offered very little. Provided with the same technology as the famous P-306/M-306 combination from ONKYO. Sounds great. Full sound, not dominating in low or high tones, but a clear, neutral sound. Highly recommended if you are looking for a heavy, solid, neutral-sounding amplifier with excellent phono stage. This quality is not made anymore! Double transformer (referred to as double super servo), built very well with 4 heavy condensers which can effortlessly handle all dynamics in the music. 15.5 kg heavy and 2 x 100 watts continuous output power at 8 ohms. Connections for 3 pairs of speakers, of which 2 pairs can be played simultaneously. Connection for 2 turntables. Excellent phono stage, with 3 options on the front for MM, low MC, high MC cartridge. LED VU meters on the front. These digital meters were a novelty in 1981. This amplifier has recently been professionally serviced. There are some barely visible signs of wear. Looks like new.
