Multi-functional locomotive series Am 842 of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB-Cargo). Diesel-hydraulic type G 800 BB of the Vossloh Schienenfahrzeugtechnik GmbH (VSFT), developed from the earlier standard locomotives of the type MaK.
Fitted with an MFX-decoder and controlled high efficiency propulsion. Special engine with coreless armature and flywheel. Powered on 4 axles. With 4 traction tyres. The 3-point white front headlights and the white end signal lights alternate with changes in the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Lighting with low-maintenance LEDs. Acceleration and deceleration delay can be controlled with either the Control Unit or via Systems. The length between the buffers is: 16.5 cm.
