Book enriched with great original compositions by Paul-Emile Bécat. Alexis Piron, Burgundian born in Dijon in 1689, is a libertine poet whose writings made scandal. The delicate line of Bécat echoes these erotic poems nicely. Edition limited to 1,565 numbered copies, one of 1500 copies on vellum of the Marais, this copy is No. 914.
