The Rolls Royce of English corkscrews, the THOMASSON, probably the most evolved of all. Patented in 1802 by Sir Edward Thomason. The double-screw system makes it easy to extract the cork and to remove it without even laying a finger on it, then the small screw goes all the way in when twisting the bone handle and the bit penetrates into the cork. At the end, the biggest screw forces the cork up. Simply turn it the other way to remove the cork. Very well adjusted overall, it allows to uncork smoothly without shaking the bottle. The bone handle has one side to break the wax and one side with a brush to clean it up. With a unicorn and a lion on the English emblem. It measures 14 cm long when closed, 14 cm high and 24.5 cm when opened (it will be carefully wrapped).
