Yamaha - Findanno - Paris-Dakar - TT 36A - 600 cc - 1984
In 1985, Giampiero “Findus” Findanno participated in the Paris-Alger-Dakar with this bike.
In 1985, also Franco Picco and Andrea Marinoni were part of the Italian Yamaha team. They respectively got past the finish line in 3rd and 4th position.
This official Yamaha bike has got the frame of TT 600 36A and uses both Yamaha special official parts (swingarm) and pieces from the cross bike XT Ténéré YZ490 (such as the wheels).
The bike is ASI-FIVA registered with CRS.
Preparation made at Belgarda di Gerno di Lesmo, Yamaha importer to Italy.
The lot includes the golden rims (original Dakar), official brake disc and oil cooler.
Some of the restored details are not faithful to the original: engine, wheel, bellows and some finishes are in a different colour than the originals - easy to restore back to original condition.

The BZ (Bolzano) license plate is due to a change of ownership in a different province.
