1750 Alfa Romeo "Veloce" engine. 1969. Type AR00548 Serial E6628 Installed usually on the GT Bertone Veloce, Spider Veloce and Berlina. Complete and in excellent conditions. This engine came as spare with my old 1750 Veloce when I bought it. Previous owner said it has been fully rebuilt and that was ready to be installed. The engine turns by hand with spark plugs removed. With spark plugs installed, a long lever is required to turn it, this is a sign that it has a very good compression. The engine carries also the original 40mm carburetors that appear to have been rebuilt also. The engine also comes with: -exhaust headers -flywheel -distributor, cables -alternator -oil sender, oil switch, temp sender, thermostat -water pump -oil filter with housing -carburetors and intake manifold The engine is clean and detailed, there are absolutely no traces of leaks (it has fresh new oil in). The castings are clean and with no traces of welding. The engine appears to be a 1969 as a "9" in the dater in the aluminium casting is clearly visible, but I cannot guarantee it. The engine has all the signs to have received the rebuild stated and to be ready to be installed, but since I have no receipt of it, the engine is intended to be sold AS IS, with no warranty at all, for spares.
