This beautiful chess table is supposedly English-made. Exact origin is not clear, but it is a beautiful specimen. The table is equipped with a drawer and a folding lid, both of which have a lock. The matching original key is present. There is a mirror on the inside. The table probably dates from the late 19th, early 20th century. The table is richly decorated with various ornaments around the chessboard, have a look at the many detailed photos. The accompanying wooden Régence chess pieces are in good condition, two knights differ slightly in size. The chess pieces are slightly on the large side for the chess board. The chess pieces presumably date from around 1950. The table is also in good condition with minor signs of wear The closure of the top is sometimes a bit stiff. Height king: 8 cm.
