Moto Guzzi Galletto with kick-start and 192 cc displacement. From 1955. Completely restored and overhauled and never used after. Many new details: handgrips, rubber parts, tyres, battery, cables. With an additional valve in the oil circuit closing system. Only one flaw: the odometer plastic is broken. The restoration expense was quite high. Engine has been preserved and properly works. Displayed for the first time in 1954, the 192 cc Galletto is the definitive version of this moped that, like the Vespa and the Lambretta, was “the vehicle” for many Italians during the 1950s. It remained unchanged until 1961, when was added the electric starter version, less interesting from a cosmetic point of view. Very sturdy and strong, equipped with an engine producing the typical Guzzi sound, the Galletto is a vintage icon and the first attempt to combine the advantages of a scooter with those of a motorcycle.
