The Table Alphabetique is to the end of Volume I. Overall in excellent condition, with a touch of rubbing / creasing to the spines only. Slight bowing to the board of Volume I. Volume III has a ring stain (from a glass or cup) to front board. Internally clean and tidy. Sporadic but light foxing / darkening to pages. Very interesting dictionary, its purpose being to list all the great battles of ancient and modern history; there are even several entries for the Americas (Quebec, Louisbourg, Rio, Cartagena de Indias).
