Once you've tasted and enjoyed these outstanding 'Max.Grün.' wines as such from Mertesdorf at the Ruwer you'll understand why for instance Robert Parker (whatever value you may give to that "phenomenon"...) generously gives almost automatically their wines a score of more than 90 out of 100! In fact every drop of (no matter what version of) wine from that worldfamous slope can make you smile and feel thankful. And if you'll ever go there, watch out! You may fall in love irresistably......., in love with the spot and with the 'spirit'. You 'll feel it the more in case you're also attracted by the wonderful label that hardly ever changed in decades and decades and decades....... Feel humbly happy and enjoy life the more (depending your character and EQ!) as a 'connoisseur' and lover of not only the traditional taste of German white wines but also their succesfull approach of TROCKEN. Of course I can't convince you with words only. But try to believe me, we opened the fourth and last remaining 2007 trocken bottle before offering this lot of three to you. To be sure of the quality....... Sure, taste is personal, but right after opening this last bottle from our genuine monastery cellar the taste is surprisingly 'mature' and generous for a 17 years old TROCKEN version!
