Bruichladdich Octomore 10 years old is the second limited edition of this single malt scotch whiskey from the island of Islay, produced in 18,000 copies (600 bottles available for the French market). This whiskey was created by the new master distiller of Bruichladdich Adam Hannet.Octomore 10 years old is an extremely peaty whisky, distilled in 2006 from 100% Scottish barley and spring water from the island of Islay. Aged at the Bruichladdich distillery (60% in bourbon barrels and 40% in white Grenache wine barrels). 57.3% vol. of alcohol. The nose is smoky and iodized. it is accompanied by notes of ginger syrup, walnuts, orange zest, lemon and green apple. The palate is oily, with a great smoky and fruity character, all complemented by notes of salted caramel, almond paste, vanilla and toast. The peaty finish is endless.
