The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Changes / Johnny B. Goode / 45 RPM 7" / Test Promo "Not for Sale" - Acetate - 1st Pressing, Promo pressing, Test pressing, Ιαπωνική εκτύπωση - 1972

Jimi Hendrix -Masterpiece /Changes & Johnny B.Goode / 45 RPM 7" / Acetate / Test Promo "Not for Sale"" Attention, the white spots shown in the pictures are not scratches... but rather the "varnish" used in the manufacturing process, which turns white after a while. This has no impact on the quality Still good VG+ (just a few thin scratches) There is actually a famous live recording of Jimi Hendrix playing the song "Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry. This recording is from a concert held at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on March 17, 1968. Jimi Hendrix and his band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, performed a rousing version of "Johnny B. Goode" there as part of their live repertoire. Hendrix's interpretation of this rock 'n' roll classic is remarkable, showcasing his virtuoso guitar playing as well as his signature feedback and whammy bar effects. This live cover was later released on various Hendrix compilations and live albums and is an important part of his performance history. The recording is an example of Jimi Hendrix's ability to take well-known songs and give them a completely new dimension and unique sound. It's a tribute to Chuck Berry and shows how Hendrix was able to bring his own creative touch to every song he interpreted. ★★★ Jimi Hendrix -Masterpiece /Changes & Johnny B.Goode / Acetate / Test Promo "Not for Sale"" ★★★ This is a unique acetate of this fantastic song : An acetate disc (also known as a lacquer, acetate test, dubplate, or transcription disc) is a type of gramophone record typically used for recording and broadcasting purposes from the 1930s through the late 1950s, and remains in limited use to this day Acetate discs are used in the manufacture of vinyl records. Unlike ordinary vinyl records, which are quickly formed from lumps of plastic through a mass-production molding process, an acetate disc is made using a recording lathe to cut a groove modulated with audio signals into the surface of a lacquer-coated dummy disc. A real-time operation that requires expensive, delicate equipment and expertise for requires good results. The disc is then coated with metal which is then stripped to form a negative which is later electroplated and stripped to create a mother (positive copy) which is then re-plated and stripped to create negatives which are called punches, which are then used as molds in a platen press. ★★★ Attention, the white spots shown in the pictures are not scratches... but rather the "varnish" used in the manufacturing process, which turns white after a while.
